Who We Are
Located in the heart of Central Arkansas, Always Promoting Independence Homecare (API), LLC is a locally owned and operated licensed personal care agency. API was established in 2019 to provide personal care services to individuals in their homes with one goal in mind: Person-centered care. This goal is shared by every member of the API team. We understand everyone’s independence is different and we work to meet clients where they are. We strive to be culturally sensitive to client's needs offering cultural competency training to all staff members this helps us honor client's wishes. respect clients as individuals, as well as meet clients where they are.
Our Staff
Our Administrator has a bachelor’s in social work and 10 years of experience in health care and case management. Our RN has over 15 years of experience in healthcare working in positions as CNA, LPN, and RN.
Our Caregivers are CNAs, NA’s, or PCA certified with experience working with total care clients, clients with chronic illness and physical disability, clients with a diagnosis of mental illness. All staff members attend monthly in-service to increase cultural competency and ensure they are working within their scope of practice.
Our staff members have extensive criminal background checks and driving records. All staff must have a negative TB test before being hired and all are required to get a yearly flu shot.
Mission Statement
Always Promoting Independence Homecare and Transportation (A.P.I) mission is to meet clients where they are by making person-centered care and promoting independence the main goal. This goal is achieved when we transport clients to their desired destination and assist clients with their activities of daily living (ADL’s). Providing these important factors helps clients maintain their individual independence as well as promote a positive well-being for clients.

Hello everyone,
Thank you for taking the time to visit our site. I hope that we are able to accommodate you with one or more of the services we provide. Always Promoting Independence (A.P.I.) Services was established in 2019 with one main goal in mind person-center care. This is a motto that every team member shares.
We believe that everyone’s view of independence is different and if we keep the main goal always front and center (Person-Centered) then we will always promote the independence of that individual. With over 20 years of healthcare/home care and transportation experience; our interdisciplinary team is comprised of the best individual providing care giving, transporting, nursing, and social services in Central Arkansas. Our slogan is “ Your independence is our business," and we really mean that.
As you look through the site you will see we mean just what we say by the person-centered care and services we offer. On this site, you will find information about home care services as well as front door transportation.
