The agency must ensure all staff and clients are safe when care is given to clients in their homes. To ensure minimal exposure to infectious diseases such as COVID-19, all staff members are required to take their temperature every morning before starting their shift with the client(s). When in the presence of client(s), caregivers agree to wear a mask at all times during the shift, to use gloves when providing direct care to the client(s), wash hands with liquid soap when able, and use sanitizer before and after providing direct care to the client(s). Any staff member not abiding by PPE policy is subject to reprimand at the discretion of the administrator.
